• IRIS is a 32-bit Windows program. There is not a Macintosh version available. IRIS will run on all versions of Microsoft Windows since Windows 95. Mac based windows emulators are not specifically supported, but have been known to work with IRIS.
• IRIS requires that you be connected to the Internet while using it. IRIS will work with America Online, CompuServe and most other conventional Internet Service Providers.
• If you are browsing through a firewall, you may have problems using IRIS. This is because IRIS must establish a TCP connection on a non-standard port using a proprietary protocol. Refer to the IRIS Firewall HOWTO for more information on this topic.

While the IRIS trial is downloading, you should apply for a user name and password. You must have a user name and password, as well as a valid Internet e-mail address, to log in to IRIS. Simply fill in your information in the form below and select the region that interests you most. Within a few minutes, we will send you an e-mail message with the information you will need to log in to IRIS. If you do not get a message, it may mean that you typed in your e-mail address incorrectly. If this happens, try entering your e-mail address again. This username and password will be valid for one week and you are only allowed one trial user name per e-mail address. Please be sure to type your whole e-mail address. Many people do not include the "@aol.com" or "@msn.com" and therefore will not receive their message. While waiting for the information to be mailed to you, you can continue on to step 2.
