Label Wizard
One of the powerful features of IRIS is its ability to create Mailing Labels.
Using this feature is simple, and greatly increases the value of the system for those
who need to contact people. Mailing labels can be created in two ways. First, you can
print mailing labels for all of the properties that you find in any search. You can also
select an area of the map, and create mailing labels for every property in that area.
Selecting Properties
To create mailing labels from the results of a search, conduct a search as normal.
When the system returns after the search, select Create Mailing Labels/From Search
Results from the Toolbar or Output Menu.
To create mailing labels from a map, draw a map containing the properties you would
like to mail. Next, select Create Mailing Labels/From Map from the Toolbar or Output Menu. You will be asked to select an area of the map for which to create mailing labels. To do so, position the mouse pointer over one corner of the desired area. Hold down the left mouse button while dragging the mouse pointer to the opposite corner of the desired area, and release the mouse button. This will draw a rectangle around this area, and select all the properties inside that area to create the labels.

After you have selected the properties you want mailing labels for, the IRIS Label
Wizard window will appear to help you finish creating the labels.

Note: As with all data in IRIS, there is a limit to the number of mailing labels
that can be downloaded at one time. This limit is currently 250, but it does vary.
This limit is necessary because of data licensing issues.
