A great deal of the power of IRIS is derived from the maps it provides. They allow you to obtain information about a neighborhood's layout, a property's shape and size, and its distance from various points of interest, among many other things. To view a map, click on the Map tab near the top of the IRIS screen.

The map tab consists of a large window for the map, a button panel in the upper right corner from which you can manipulate the map, and an information window in the lower right corner, which displays information about map contents as needed.
