To access the tools menu, click on the word Tools on the menu bar at the top of the IRIS screen. From this menu, you can log in or out of the IRIS Server. You can also set your Options, as well as exit the IRIS program from this menu.

The Output menu provides facilities to print, save, or copy the information returned from the server. The specific action of these options are determined by the type of tab that is active. For example, when the map tab is active, the save button will allow you to save the map as any of a variety of standard image formats. The browse records tab will allow you to save the records in a dBASE file. Consult the Help on Output or the section on the appropriate tab to find out the specific features of each tab.

To access the help menu, click on the word Help on the menu bar at the top of the IRIS screen. The help menu will give you access to these help files with complete descriptions of all of the available functions in IRIS.

Many of these functions are related to items on the Toolbar.
