Picture Tab

The Picture Tab is used to view pictures of properties. PropertyKey tries to supply a street view picture of every property on the IRIS system. There may also be other images available for the property, such as the plat map for that area.

Viewing a Picture

To view a picture, simply click on the Picture Tab. If there is only one picture available, it will automatically be downloaded and displayed on your computer. If there are multiple pictures of a property, you can choose which picture to view from the Available Pictures box. Position the mouse pointer over description of the picture to be viewed and double click the left mouse button. The selected picture will be downloaded and displayed.

Picture Zoom and Pan

Using the button panel in the lower right corner of the Picture Tab, you can zoom in to an area of a picture.

Clicking a magnifying glass will zoom in (+) or zoom out (-) of the image. To move to a specific area of the picture, simply click the button pointing the direction you would like to move. The center button will return the picture to the original alignment. These functions are only in effect when Stretch Image To Fill Box is selected. Selecting this option may negatively affect image quality, especially when zooming in to the image. The default IRIS property image is optimized to be displayed at 400x300 pixels; only limited stretching and zooming can be done before negatively affecting image quality. Other, larger images such as scanned plat maps will be positively affected by these features.
